 | Off topic, but my order from Daniel Sandler just arrived. I may have gone overboard with the shade selections, but HOLY COW what a stunning product. I had one years ago and was absolutely using it wrong - swirling instead of patting in, like you recommended. It looks just like skin now and doesn’t disrupt my base of tinted mineral sunscreen.  | Have you ever tried to do a single layered base with two shades of foundation? For example- use a matching shade in the inside of the face and a darker (contour shade) on the outside of the face. Also- Would love for you to review Maskcara! They are known for their cream products and they suggest using a skin tone shade (they call it a highlight) for the center and a contour shade for the perimeter. The products look amazing and you can custom make your own pallets including the design of the outside. It’s a really cool concept and it’s pretty affordable when you break it down.  | So I'm someone who now has normal-dry skin AND has texture because I used to have oily skin with acne. The acne left me with indented scars and large pores. Most pore filling primers are matte and look very dry on my skin and make my foundation look worse. So what works for me is applying skincare that will first make my skin look as hydrated and plump as possible, then I "spot prime" with the pore filling primer on the areas that I need it.
