 | Well I my opinion... Elsa actually saved anna! As u see in that scene where anna asked elsa if she could marry hans, We all know that hans is evil but it was just that anna didn't saw that coming ! It was a huge plotwist. And even if she got married with hans, I don't think that it would work out. And also it wasn't elsa's fault that she was being separated from her sister it was just as she scared that she would hurt somebody, even elsa didn't like it!  | Nice essay! My personal hot take (har har) is that I think this idea needs more changes from the original to work properly. For instance, if Anna is to be dangerous at the climax, then she needs to start manifesting Elsa-like powers earlier as well as the flashes of temper. (Maybe as black ice?) Perhaps Elsa's powers cut out now and again as Anna manifests hers, leaving her vulnerable as the soldiers storm her castle. But the storm gripping Arendelle does not change, because both Anna's anger and Elsa's anxiety are fueling it. While I'd leave Hans's basic plans unchanged, I'd make him a weaker personality here. He should actually try kissing Anna and get nothing but frostbitten lips as a result, then confess he only wanted her kingdom after the kiss fails. Almost whining, like he's asking for her pity when she's the one (apparently) dying and he's about to steal everything he ever wanted. That'd stoke Anna's anger even more than his betrayal. Whatever else could be said about the original Hans, he was a bold shaper of his own destiny and a brilliant actor. But if he becomes more of a coward, that leaves an antagonist-shaped hole in the movie for Dark Anna to fill. Finally, I understand why the dark ending appeals, but to me it feels like Hollywood's worst kind of unfinished story, a save-it-for-the-sequel swerve that wouldn't leave anyone really satisfied. It seems far better and stronger for Elsa and Anna's climax to be a full reversal of their prior scene together: even as they fight, Elsa tries to reach the kind, good Anna who's still in there somewhere, symbolized by that one remaining red streak. There were a couple of times in the original Frozen when it looked like Elsa might become the villain after all--you see it in her face just as she finishes the "Let It Go" sequence. If you leave those moments in, then you show that Elsa's had the same impulses that are now gripping Anna...and that's what she needs. Empathy triumphs over destruction, love heals a frozen heart, and two women who've both threatened Arendelle are redeemed as Elsa embraces the bond she never should have pushed away. I don't think this'll ever happen, but hey, Marvel's What If got a lot of attention; Disney could do worse than to change its focus for a new season. Комментарий от : @TCampbell |

 | Honestly, I would go the original story route, so live Hans's (God this still feels like such a slap in the face for an original author of the story Hans Christian Andersen) and his characterization from the first half of the movie the hell alone (I'm so sorry but him being a villain doesn't have a lick of sense and I will die on this hill), actually, I would keep him and Anna together since they have better chemistry IMO, and until writers forced Hans into unfortunate villain role they get along well and don't hate their guts, and Kistof, well... maybe he could be inamerd with Elsa since he loves ice so much, I don't konw honestly I never gave a hoot about him, but I would make Elsa the vilain and kept her that way for the entire franchise, which would give the oportunty for the sequel beeing about Kai and Gerda, protagonist of orignal story, which you could esoly link, like maybe Elsa kidaped Kai becouse he reminded her of yound Anna and heck, in Gerda's epic quest (honestly read orinal story it's great) tring to save Kai from the cluches of the Snow Queen Gerda culd even teem up with, now queen Anna who would still belive she could change Elsa back, and maybe at the end she would with but Elsa would isst to stay where she is but promise to become more nutral boeing. This would have been totally badass and would give us 2 strong female protagonists with a noble motivation of trying to save their closest ones, but alas we got snowy crap called Frozen.
