 | TW: DRUGS & R@PE | It’s sad because my mom would always say how I reminded her of Billie. Never needed any type of drug to be high. Nor did I ever prefer it. As long as I was with “my people” I was perfectly fine. And what I mean by “my people” is people who view life like me, and have some same interests, music, humor, etc.. Was in her custody/care for years. Science 11 I’d go out with friends and my at the time boyfriend so I had a personality that evolved till I was 14. And it was legal because I had Child services plus weekly therapy the whole time. Till she got kicked out of a shared family home along with me and my youngest brother. Sometime later CPS took my baby brother and over time she relapsed into drugs. It was also hard for me to separate from what we were used to at the family home. Including family, friends, material stuff etc. But the main thing for me was my Boyfriend since 11. After I and my mom got kicked out we started living in motels moving from one to another everything was just so stressful at the time so secretly I also started doing a bit of drugs. The only reason was because I wasn’t able to see any friends as often. Maybe just once a month. Since me my ex were distanced we took each other virginity a few months before I was placed with my Bio Dad. Before I moved with him he promised me I’d be able to see my people at the time bf. But Since I’ve been placed I haven’t seen a single person, not even from a distance (ex; Across the street). A few months pass and neither I nor my ex see each other on our birthdays. Plus it was the same as in 2023 when I was living in motels we didn’t see each other on either of our birthdays. What makes things worse is last year a few weeks after I and my boyfriend lost our virginity to each other my mom's boyfriend at the time decided to r@pe me. As a good girlfriend, I had a conversation about what happened and he still wanted a relationship. I would have even walked to his house to make this year's birthday for him but ever since I moved with my dad has wanted to distance me from everyone and just focus on at-home learning/school. I feel they all just don’t get my view on things. So now I have been abusing marijuana. Because they think I could stay behind closed doors 25/8, doing pure school, only going out to stores, dragged to doctor appointments that aren’t even for me, pay bills that aren’t even mine, etc. They ended my case and never disciplined the boy who violated me.  | I’m only 16 and I used to sing this song when it first came out not know what any of it meant. No im 30 days clean from nicotine. I hated the feeling of weed so it didn’t a few times but always freaked out. I just helped my friend make a joint with the last bit of her weed so she could smoke. I always get secondhand smoking but I never count it as me smoking but I know that it still affects my lungs. It’s hard to stop drugs and I still deal with the urge to smoke again because my sister and all my friends do it. But they all respect me for stopping. And now that I look back I can see that I came so far within the 30 days because before I was sad all the time but now I’m just sad every once in a while. I get really bad depressive episode were I do try and commit. But I never go through with it. My anxiety is terrible and all I get is fucked over by guys for how I look. It’s a struggle but I find my way through it with the help of my mom and my dad who is finally pulling through and helping his kids for once. I just want yall to know that drugs will suck your life and happiness away from you and make you lose your friends. Addiction is like a storm you need the storm to pass over before it gets better.
