 | Good series. Worth your time to experience quality drama during the most turbulent times in 20th century Russia. Yes the music is over used and the coincidental meeting are ridiculous but the characters are strong and of course there is a dose of Russian babes to maintain every man's interest. One thing you don't have to worry about with Russian movies is a narrative centred around "social justice" or "revisionism" telling lies about how a brigade of homosexuals or vegans actually defeated a German Panzer division.
