 | The Home Coming theme always reminds me of my late grandfather, who used to watch this movie. First time I watched this with him was when I was 7 on a DVD. He had a great soul, and that's why he exactly understood and loved this movie. 1 month before his passing, I found that exact DVD, which I believed was long gone.  | I still remember when I first saw the movie First Blood in 1985 at a friends place on VHS (blurry copy)! The first movie is still the best one of the franchise!  | 5:15 is why Goldsmith is genius. Pathos, melancholy, loss and miss placed patriotism. All tied up in the catastrophe that was the Vietnam war. A outstanding score from a brilliant film.
