 | This clearly isn't portraying marriages as a walk in the park type of charade we're used to seeing on Instagram. Everyone had their own ups and downs. Nobody gets their shit completely done before turning thirty, and that's just part of the reality we're slowly coming to terms with. and everything else film about a sad and heartbreaking issue, the divorce. For I recently had such an experience, I just had to fastforward the film. The whole process of marriage ...a relationship falling apart has been shown in such a brilliant yet for me painful details. I just couldn't watch it all. | The reason was, we knew the person questing us was a possible threat to seciroty matters plus ... We would sit their together at the space that is between the cultures, knowing we had sniper rifles over the top of us the entire time. We debriefed negative to get people to protect it while we held thee space. Plus we knew who the snipers were abstract, possibly waiting for any affront on us kids ...  | What a complete snoozefest. Pretentious and unimaginative. I'd say it was all just self-absorbed narcissistic voiceover, but that is not accurate--they did occasionally switch to droning on to peppy therapists and trope-ish divorce lawyers to serve as a way to say, "See, it is not just creatively void voiceover narration." The lead was bad. The writing was bad. The story is so boring you'll want to respond to your Ex's booty calls on facebook for some excitement. This newcomer what's his name, Adam Deriver Something, flopped around there imitating bad actors who he apparently believes are good, gasping for a hairdo and for craft, like a suffocating fish on the bow, everyone watching to see if he'd flip back into water for some life. But nope, he drowned in piles of stale lines and half-sanded slights. The least inspired dialogue I've seen since Porky's 2. The worst performance I've seen from Laura Dern since that David Lynch film. I'd expected more from this film because the actors and writing were applauded in certain circles. Nearly everything about this, esp in light of the must've-cached-in-some-major-favors awards hype, swirled around up there unpredictably bad. Johanson's performance was as expected though: bad... lifeless, boring, one-dimensional, talentless. The writer/director should be ashamed of himself.
