 | I see these types of videos often and they never mention that you need to verify that your attic can even carry the additional load.  | As a handyman…A+. As a home theater…this is offensive. You had a blank slate…no drywall…and you didn’t wire for proper surround sound!!?? You instead buy an expensive sound bar. There’s no comparison. Also…you didn’t even run HDMI for a proper ceiling mount longer throw projector and instead spend $2700 on that LG that sits in the middle of your floor.  | Wow, if I had the luxury of a dedicated theater space I wouldn't have slapped a sound bar with a paired sub in it! I'd have gone with at least a 5.1 channel surround sound system. An a/v receiver powering the front stage ( left...center...right) and a pair of left and right surround channels, while the LFE output (line - level) is hooked to a powered subwoofer.
